Football is the sport that keeps people on cable. Games are spread across broadcast networks, cable sports channels and streaming-only packages, and which one has your team changes each week. Here is a setup that works without a cable box.
Step 1: One guide, not five apps
The practical fix is a single live guide that covers national and regional sports channels. Our plans include live sports channels in HD and 4K; ask us on WhatsApp which are available for your team and area before you buy.
Step 2: The right device
A Fire TV Stick 4K, Apple TV 4K or NVIDIA Shield. Avoid very old sticks on game day. See setup guides.
Step 3: Wire it
Kickoff is peak time for neighborhood Wi-Fi. Use Ethernet or 5 GHz.
Step 4: Pick the right plan length
Football season runs September to early February. A 3-month Starter covers most of the regular season; a 6-month Premium covers the whole thing including bowl games and the playoffs. Add a second device for the garage or basement with Premium (3 screens) or Pro (4).
Step 5: Test before week one
Request a free trial a week before the season so setup issues are solved before it matters.
Game-day routine
- Open the app 15 minutes before kickoff.
- Keep a phone logged in as a backup.
- Restart the stick weekly.
